A Contemporary Interpretation of Life in Kadıköy
The story of Vitalia Merdivenköy began with the idea of bringing Kadıköy’s established neighbourhood culture together with the understated aesthetics of modern architecture. In step with the city’s pace, the project brings Vitalia’s approach to simple, elegant and timeless design to Merdivenköy. Its restrained architectural language makes a contemporary contribution to the character of its surroundings.
We completed this urban renewal project in March 2025, bringing together 15 homes and 2 shops across 2,500 m² of construction area. Its understated design reflects our aim to create architecture that retains its relevance over time. Vitalia Merdivenköy is one of the built expressions of this approach in Istanbul.
Access to Marmaray, the E-5 and M4 metro line makes it easier to reach different parts of Istanbul. Nearby Bağdat Avenue offers shopping and social life, while Kadıköy–Moda brings the city’s cultural activity into reach. Merdivenköy’s location places these different experiences close to everyday life.
